Progression routes and skills

Looking at universities, I have a few listed below that I'm currently looking into that are possibilities as progression routes for me. These include a few universities that have animation undergraduate courses.

Located in London, this university offers an undergraduate course in animation and was considered one of the top institutions for animation in 2017 by the Animation Career Review.

Since it is in London, not only will the number of opportunities after my degree be larger due to the number of wide range of animation and VFX companies in London, but also the fact that London isn't too far from where I currently am- making staying at home and commuting into the city a viable and money saving option too.

To the side is a description of the course, detailing

what careers the students of the course tent to want

to go into after graduating as well as describing what the course

will entail. This was from the website in a PFD file describing the entire course in much detail.

This university also offers a degree course in animation, however I feel that the portfolio I submit is very important in whether I am accepted or not. Upon looking at the portfolio requirements, I would need 15-20 pieces, around 4 of which are still lifes. I also need to create some small animations that I can showcase in there too.

As for the finance side, there are many scholarships that the school offers, however I don't want to only rely on that, since its not definite. There are, though, other types of financial aid and student loans that I am eligible for, therefore will apply for.

The same goes for the other universities

as well.
